Three local schools are finalists in the Road Safety Authority's poster competition. Both First Class and Second Class pupils from Killconnon National School in Stradone, as well as students from Scoil Naomh Padraig, Corracrin and Scoil Eanna Ballybay made it to the final.
The First Class students are in the Seatbelt Sheriff category and promoting everyone on the car or on the bus wearing their seatbelt. These students from Scoil Naomh Padraig, Corracrin explained to Aaron McElroy their "Seatbelt Sheriff" poster.
Second Class students meanwhile designed "Hi Glo" posters to raise awareness of wearing reflective clothing. Aaron also spoke to a few of the pupils from Scoil Éanna Ballybay, who entered the "Hi Glo" category.
