A local woman is trying to get the first robotic exoskeleton in Ireland.
Anne Marie Leonard suffered a spinal injury several years ago which left her without the ability to walk.
The ReWalk bionic suit is a device that can allow a person to walk and can be used outside.

There are none of these in Ireland at the moment and Anne Marie is fundraising to bring the first one to the local region.
Anne Marie spoke to Caroline Gauley on The Wider View and started by explaining to Caroline what an exoskeleton is.
