A family pet was stabbed in the main street area of Brookeborough on the 2nd of July.
The incident is reported to have happened at approximately 1.40pm and the police are continuing to investigate the incident and are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the event. It's believed that the Dalmatian, called Charlie, was attacked during an attempted break-in at the owner's property where he sustained significant flesh wounds as well as losing most of his ear.
