Scotstown GAC has launched its "Make your Céili", an initiative aimed at encouraging people to visit a neighbour who may be lonely or suffering from rural isolation.
The initiative begins each year when the clocks go forward because people are more aware of winter darkness and the lonely nights that some could face.
Scotstown member Bernie Sherry says that it is hard to beat the face-to-face contact of the ceili in the social media age we are living in.
