First affordable housing scheme in Monaghan Town launched. Monaghan County Council given the green light to proceed with its Affordable Purchase Scheme for first time buyers. Indeed, Minister of Housing, James Brown, this week confirmed the news to Monaghan Senator Robbie Gallagher.
Moreover, under the Affordable Purchase Scheme, local authorities will make newly built homes available at a reduced price. Furthermore, these homes will be available for first-time; and other eligible buyers who cannot afford to purchase a home at its open market value.
