Monaghan Fire and Civil Protection (MFCP) attended 40 emergency calls during January 2026.
Calls attended were again during this period dominated by road traffic collisions.
This was long with MFCP's response to impact of flooding associated with Storm Chandra and chimney fires.

Flooding calls related to rescue from vehicles in floodwater and persons in homes trapped by floods.
Other call types included truck fires, domestic house fires and agri shed fire.
