A memorial playground is officially opening in Cavan this weekend.
Gemma Sheridan has been instrumental in the building of Adie's Rainbow Playground, in memory of her late husband.
Gemma's husband and the father of her four boys, Adie was killed in a workplace accident in June of 2024.

Adie is remembered as a community man who loved the simple things and was very heavily involved in sport in the area.
The ribbon on the memorial playground will be cut after 10am mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Mullahoran on Sunday.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, Gemma explained where the idea for the playground came from.
