Anti-social behaviour is the only cloud on the horizon in Monaghan.
That's according to local Aontú representative Olivia Larkin who warned that anti-social behaviour is casting a cloud over the town.
The local rep said she has been "inundated" with complaints from people who are having to contend with the behaviour of what she says is "drunken men, fighting, shouting and generally engaging in disorderly behaviour."
Olivia believes the majority of people just want to go about their business in peace, and this thoughtless and blatantly anti-social behaviour is causing them untold stress.
The Aontú rep also raised her concerns over the lack of Gardai on the beat to deal with this issue.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Olivia warned that zero visibility is certainly not a deterrent to this sort of thuggish behaviour.
