Gardaí in Co Monaghan have issued an appeal following an incident of vandalism.
Gardaí described the "disheartening" scene that was discovered yesterday morning at Church Hill in Clones.
Vandals had destroyed and burnt one of the flower pots being maintained by the Town Team.

The incident occurred between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
Gardaí said it is disheartening to hear reports from Community Groups of this nature, following all the hard work by organisations and volunteers.
