A 29-year-old Cavan man who appeared at Trim District Court yesterday has been sent for trial on an assault charge.
Darren Casserly with an address at the Old Post Office, Bawnboy was charged with assault causing harm at an address in Navan on 16th June 2024.
Garda McCormack gave evidence of having served a book of evidence on the accused who was then issued an alibi caution by Judge Éirinn McKiernan.

Mr Casserly was then sent forward for trial to the present sitting of Trim Circuit Court.
