Just over 62,000 disclosures of abuse against women and children were made to Women's Aid last year.
It's a 33% increase the year before, with almost one in three women saying they were being abused by a former partner.
It says housing shortages and problems within the family justice system are making it harder for many women to escape abusive relationships.
