Planning permission has been given for a new development at a luxury hotel in Co Cavan.
Kingscourt Castle Limited, who run Cabra Castle, have been given the green light to construct a Spa and Wellness Centre consisting of a Gym, Swimming Pool, Treatment Rooms, Internal and External Amenity / Leisure Areas.
The approved planning application also includes a Restaurant, Kitchen, laundry room, associated Plant rooms and staff facilities.
An effluent and pool wastewater treatment systems and car-parking is also included.
The entire development would take place in the area of a protected structure.
The building will be detached, part single storey and part two storey.
County planners gave the go-ahead in recent days for the development with 32 conditions attached.
