Campaigns to crack down on dodgy boxes will be continuing shortly according to FACTs chairperson.
Yesterday, it was reported that Cavan was included in counties which have recently seen shops and retailers issued with legal notices.
The Federation Against Copyright Theft is leading the operation and 15 notices have been issued in Kerry, Louth, Laois, Mayo, Donegal, Kilkenny, Wexford, Meath and Cavan.
FACTS chairperson Kieran Sharpe says the campaign is continuing and will expand into other counties.
He explained that the organisation operates, by obtaining proof and visiting the premises unannounced to issue a warning.
Kieran said the aim of the group is to look at different strategies and tactics it can employ to prevent the problem getting worse, to disrupt what is going on at the moment.
He explained how the unregulated content can be harmful on the Joe Finnegan show this morning.
