Cavan Arts Festival is returning for its ninth year next month.
This year's festival that runs from the 14th of May promotes the very best of local creativity while bringing world-class national and international talent to Cavan.
Highlights this year include a double bill of acclaimed Americana folk duo Dug, and Grammy-nominated roots and folk artist Zoé Basha along with the barnstorming smash hit Devil's in the Dance Hall by Edwina Guckian and featuring Seamus O'Rourke.
Con Smith Park in town represents the living, beating heart of Cavan Arts Festival.
Director of Cavan Arts Festival, Kim McCafferty says the event is aiming to cater for all the family.
She says the support locally has been amazing.
