Cavan bull named champion before €5,000 sale
Champion: Carrick Sam 2 HH with breeder Philip Lynch, judge Mr. Eugene Lynch and Tennyson Egar (Irish Hereford Prime).

Sam went on to sell for a joint top price of the sale at €5,000.

An animal from a Co. Cavan herd has been named the champion at the Nenagh Hereford Show and Sale.

Carrick Sam 2 HH, from the Co. Cavan herd of Phillip Lynch was named Champion at the Irish Hereford Breed Society event.

Sam went on to sell for a joint top price of the sale at €5,000.

A further two bulls made the high price mark of €5,000, the first was another Co. Cavan bull Evelagh Mufasa PP from William Spotten's herd.

Mufasa came with a page of stars, selling with five stars for each of the replacement, terminal, and dairy beef indexes.
