A Kingscourt woman along with her family feed hundreds of homeless people in Dublin each week.
Sonya McMahon says 'Help Our Homeless' that is run by her and her family offer food to the homeless in the city 365 days a year.
She will feed up on 200 people two times a week outside the GPO along with a outreach service which operates seven days a week visiting tents in parks and beaches in the harder to reach areas across the capital.
Sonya says it's important to let those who are most vulnerable know that "somebody cares especially at this time of the year.
She says only for the people of Cavan and Monaghan, this charity wouldn't be in operation and the hundreds they help each week would go without having any food.
Sonya and her family have being doing this great work for 6 years now and she says it is a huge commitment but she can't just walk away.
