A Co Cavan woman is encouraging people to show their support for World MS day.
World MS Day is marked globally each year on the 30th of May.
Sinead Curran from Cavan was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of 31.
She believes today is an important opportunity to raise awareness of multiple sclerosis and to help people understand the physical and emotional impact of living with the condition.
In Ireland, MS Ireland's campaign is helping to show that no two MS journeys are the same, while reminding people living with MS that they are not alone.
The local woman said the MS community has been an important source of support for her.
