Eimear Coyle has received a Fulbright FLTA Award to the USA.
The Laragh native is an Irish and Home Economics teacher.
She was awarded a scholarship by Atlantic Technological University to pursue a Master's in Education, which she completed in May 2024.
During her studies, Eimear presented her research at educational conferences, and her work was published, reflecting her commitment to professional development.
Eimear maintains a strong focus on promoting Irish language, music and culture in both formal classroom settings and informal settings and has been involved in Irish youth clubs, where young people can engage with the language in enjoyable ways.
Testament to her strong background of traditional music, Eimear has received many accolades from a young age.
Eimear will be teaching Irish in University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as a Fulbright FLTA Awardee.
