The price of the average second-hand three-bed semi in county Cavan rose by 11.8pc to €237,500 in the last twelve months, according to the latest national survey by Real Estate Alliance.
Prices remained unchanged this quarter across the county, while the average time taken to reach sale agreed was three weeks.
Average prices in Ballyconnell currently sit at €210,000, while prices in Cavan town are currently averaging at €265,000.
65% of purchasers were first-time buyers, while a total of 35% of sales in the county this quarter were attributed to landlords leaving the market.
Elsewhere, the price of the average second-hand three-bed semi in county Monaghan rose by 0.8pc to €252,000 in the last three months.
