A local councillor says it's important to maintain a local facility for the good spell of weather.
Sean Gilliland was speaking about Ballybay Beach says that sand is on it's way.
The manmade beach has been a huge hit with families, young people and sun-worshippers but its shoreline needs some occasional manpower to keep it sandy.

At a recent MD meeting Cllr Gilliland asked for council staff to check the beach, ensure there is enough sand.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr Gilliland said it's important to keep on top of the facilities.
