Investigators searching for the remains of one of the 'disappeared' Columba McVeigh have said their determination to find him is "undiminished".
A search which began in Bragan Bog in Co Monaghan in August is continuing, as investigators confirm they are moving their focus to a new section of the bog.
Eamon Henry, the Lead Investigator for the Independent Commission for the Location of Victims’ Remains (ICLVR) gave the update in the last 24 hours.
Columba was abducted, murdered and secretly buried by the IRA in October 1975.
The 50th anniversary of his murder and secret burial will be marked next week.
Columba McVeigh's sister Dympna Kerr says we just want to give him the Christian burial that he rightly deserves.
