A driver in Co. Cavan has been detected travelling at more than double the speed limit.
The motorist was detected on the R188 in Drung, driving at 130km/h in a 60km/h zone.
A Garda Roads Policing Operation is taking place throughout the June Bank Holiday Weekend.
To date, a total of 56 people were arrested for driving under the influence of an intoxicant.
