Figures for the Grow Digital Voucher scheme in Cavan and Monaghan have been revealed.
The numbers were released by the Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment in response to a parliamentary question from Emer Currie.
The objective of the Grow Digital Voucher is to help small businesses leverage digital tools, boost efficiency, expand reach, and compete effectively, by streamlining operations.
The voucher offers funding of up to €5,000 or 50% of eligible costs for new cloud-based software subscriptions for 1 year, including training and consultancy to set up this software.
It is available to all businesses with up to 50 employees in all sectors.
The figures show seven Grow Digital Vouchers were approved in Cavan this year to date, up slightly from six granted throughout 2025.
Monaghan also recorded seven approvals so far this year, compared to just three last year.
The Digital for Business programme, which businesses must complete before qualifying for a Grow Digital Voucher, approved 15 businesses in Cavan and 20 in Monaghan this year.
Minister of State Alan Dillon noted that there has been a marked increase in uptake of the Grow Digital Voucher in 2026 with approvals built on the increasing engagement by small businesses with the Digital for Business programme.
