A Russian politician has warned a County Tyrone town, which is situated close to the border, is on a ‘strike list’ should war break out between Russia and Europe.
Former Deputy Prime Minister, Dmitry Rogozin, named 23 sites in the UK which would be attacked in the event of a conflict.
Fivemiletown and Belfast in the North, both of which are home to facilities which manufacture military weapons, were named as targeted areas. Minister for Defence, Helen McEntee says the Government does take such threats seriously.
