Two brothers, with strong links to the Shannonside region, have raised almost 2 million euro for dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
The FTD Brothers, from England, are doing 33 marathons in 33 days.
The final run is now under way and will finish in Dublin city this afternoon.
Jordon, 31, and Cian Adams, 25 are almost certain to develop frontotemporal dementia, which their mother, Geraldine, died from, aged 52.
A total of 12 of their Irish relatives, including their grandmother from Mohill, Co Leitrim, died from the condition.
