€9,000 funding has been allocated for works at the Bruse Hill Trail.
The funding, announced by Minister Dara Calleary, will allow for the installation of pavers to act as stepping stones.
Cavan Monaghan TD Brendan Smith praised Cavan County Local Development for submitting the successful application.

He also commended local residents who first initiated the walking trail project in the Coronea area.
Deputy Smith says the trail is a valuable amenity for both the local community and visitors, allowing walkers to see great and interesting sights over a wide area.
