€375,000 has been announced today for Kingscourt that will see the linking of the planned greenway hub and Dún an Rí Forest Park
This development forms part of an overall strategic vision for Kingscourt.
€500,000 was abbounced in November 2025 for the Kingscourt Railway Hub located at the former Kingscourt Railway Station complex on the Carrickmacross Road on the outskirts of Kingscourt, and will provide car parking, seating, bike repair, e-bike charging, and a bus stop.
Cllr Kelly has described the news as wonderful for the wider Kingscourt area, adding that this will be great for tourism going forward and for people lving in the area.
He says today's funding will allow for the greenway from Navan connect into the forest which will link into the town. Cllr Kelly says the future is very bright for the Kingscourt area.
