Gardai are appealing for information following two separate burglaries in Monaghan.
Investigations are ongoing and Gardai would like to hear from anyone who can assist them with their enquiries.
The most recent incident occurred during the day on Wednesday the 29th of April.
A home in the area of Carn, Silverstream was burgled sometime between 9am and 2:30pm.
Damage was caused when the home was forcibly entered.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Monaghan Garda Station.
Meanwhile, Gardai are continuing to investigate a separate burglary which took place at a home on the Clones Road at Mullaghcroghery.
The incident occurred during the morning of Friday the 3rd of April at around 8am.
Anyone that was in the area at that time and noticed anything unusual is asked to contact Monaghan Garden Station.
With an increase in burglaries reported across the region, An Garda Siochana has advised locals against keeping large amounts of cash in your home.
Gardai also recommends keeping a record of the details and photographs of any valuable items in your home.
