An investigation is underway after a car left the scene of a collision in Ballyjamesduff.
The incident involved a collision with car and an e-scooter in the town.

The collision occurred sometime after 5.30pm and Gardai say they are investigating all the circumstances.

Northern Sound FM understands that the driver of the car left the scene and was arrested afterwards.
It’s understood the e-scooter rider was brought to hospital following the collision and the motorist was arrested sometime after the incident.
