Gardaí have launched an investigation in Castleblayney following a late night alleged attack on a teenager.
Local Garda say they received a report of an alleged assault at Main Street, Castleblayney which took place at around 10:30pm on Saturday evening last.
A female juvenile attended Cavan General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

She is understood to have sustained a number of injuries. Gardai say at present investigations are ongoing.
