Large sum of cash stolen from parked car in Glaslough

Gardai in Co Monaghan are appealing for information after a large quantity of cash was stolen from a parked car in Glaslough.

Gardai are asking for the assistance of the public following the incident which occurred between 12.30pm and 5pm yesterday.

Members of the public have also been warned of the dangers of leaving valuable's unattended in vehicles.

Gardai are reminding locals to "always secure your valuables."
