The late Castleblayney native and country music star Henry McMahon has been described as a 'genius' of his craft.
The singer and songwriter, who was an integral part of Monaghan's music scene for up to six decades, passed away yesterday.

He became known to thousands of country music followers as the band leader and announcer with Big Tom and The Mainliners.
He was also known as the driving force behind famous country music artists such as Robert Mizzell, allowing them to gain success in the industry.
Speaking on the 11-2 show, Longford country music star Declan Nerney paid tribute to the legend:
