A Cavan Senator has hit out over anonymous accounts threatening politicians.
Earlier this week, Simon Harris, said serious consideration needs to be given to tackling online threats, after his children were threatened.
The Tanaiste made the point that online abuse has gone too far.

Sinn Fein TD Paulin Tully spoke on the Joe Finnegan show today about how politician's families should never be targeted online.
Senator Tully said more often than not people wouldn't say the same thing to someone's face.
