Local woman on women's safety in business

A spokesperson for the Cavan Women's Business network has been speaking about the challenges facing women in business.

Zandra Montgomery was speaking ahead of an event focusing on female safety and awareness being hosted by the group.

She highlighted pressures such as the mental load, childcare responsibilities, and the isolation many women feel while running a business.

The event, organised by the Cavan and Monaghan Women's Network, will take place on June 16th from 7-9pm in the Errigal Hotel.

It will combine networking with a discussion on personal safety, boundaries, and trusting instincts in both work and everyday life.

Speaking to Northern Sound Zandra outlined the importance of this next event.
