The mother of a 16 year old girl who died after being hit by a scrambler bike says she will 'fight and fight' to have the vehicles banned.

Hundreds took part in a walk and vigil in Finglas last night to honour Grace Lynch who died after being hit by the scrambler in Finglas in Dublin on Sunday afternoon.

Grace's mother - Siobhan Gifford Lynch - told those who gathered last night scramblers and scooters need to be taken off the streets.

A man has been charged in connection with the road collision in Dublin on Sunday after which Grace Lynch died.

He's aged in his late teens and was arrested hours after the collision on the Ratoath Road.

Gardaí say he is due before Blanchardstown District Court later this morning.
