A man in his 40s has died in a workplace incident in Louth. Emergency services were called to the scene at a premises at Lisdoo outside Dundalk at about 9.15 this morning.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda for a post-mortem exam.
Both Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have launched investigations. A file will be prepared for the Coroner's Court.
