A man in his 30s has been seriously injured in an assault in Omagh in County Tyrone.
Police officers on patrol in the Main Street area of the town came across a man with a number of facial and head injuries at around 1 o'clock this morning.
He was taken to hospital, where he's in a critical, but stable condition today.

An 18-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, and remains in custody.
