A man is set to appear in court this morning in relation to an alleged assault in Co Monaghan.
The alleged assault occurred at a premises in Stonebridge, Co. Monaghan on Wednesday evening.
The man who is aged in his 30s, has been charged and is due to appear before, Monaghan District Court this morning.

Gardai say investigations continue and no more information is available as this case is now before the courts.
