A Monaghan man is commending the bravery of the people on the flotilla to Gaza, but believes there are other ways to do this.
Gerry Casey was responding to those involved in challenging Israel's naval blockade and attempting to deliver humanitarian aid.
He noted that while they went out with the right intentions and reasons, they have put themselves in harms way, he believes that there are other ways to go about it without "risking life and limb".
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, Gerry said he believes our government are not doing enough to put pressure on the Israeli government to conform to law and order.
He outlined other forms of protest that have been impactful in the past.
