A Monaghan Senator has raised concerns around the Social Welfare supports ceiling.
Robbie Gallagher raised the issue with Minister Browne on a number of occasions.
He said that it was mainly in relation to entitlements to social housing supports.

Senator Gallagher pointed to the people slipping through the cracks who earn too much to qualify for support but not enough to be able to afford a mortgage or in some cases rent.
Speaking to Northern Sound, he noted that the cost of living is having a huge impact on a cohort of people.
