A Monaghan student has been honoured for her essay writing skills.
Anna Lutze was the Ulster winner for this year's Oireachtas Essay Competition.
Anna is a student in St Louis Secondary School in Monaghan, and was one of a handful of students from across the country honoured.

The essay theme this year was Is AI a threat to democracy, and the competition saw nearly double the entries.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, Senator Ronan Mullen spoke about how the competition grew this year.
