A Co Monaghan woman has warned that SMEs are feeling the pressure when it comes to soaring energy costs.
Aprilanna Barker of Dinkins Bakery employs 96 people, serving customers in a chain of cafes and delivering her baked goods to stores.
The local woman said she is very "concerned" by the surging fuel costs caused by the war in the Middle East and is already seeing the impact on her business.
Aprilanna said electricity and gas prices have increased massively which has a huge knock-on-effect on products.
