New Cathaoirleach named for Bailiborough Cootehill MD

Councillor Clifford Kelly has been named as Cathaoirleach of the Bailiborough - Cootehill Municipal District.

He is taking over the role from Val Smith, who served in the position last year.

Members of the MD thanked Cllr Smith for his work throughout the year, noting his fairness.

Cllr Clifford Kelly thanked his colleagues saying he is looking forward to working with them in this role.

Cllr Adrian Rogers was elected as Leas Cathaoirleach.
