Minister Dara Calleary will visit Kingscourt later today to officially open the new natural playground at Dún na Rí Forest Park.
Local councillor Clifford Kelly said the playpark is a "lovely new area" for young people and families at the cost of €537, 800.
The official opening is taking place at 4pm today.

Cllr Clifford Kelly is encouraging everyone to attend today's event with entry into the forest park free for all.
He said it's a big day for Kingscourt and the local forest park, adding that it's great for young people to have this facility which is mostly made up of timber.
