Mgr Shane McCaughey was speaking after spending time with the family of Chloe McGee

The Parish Priest of Carrickmacross said that there is not enough vocabulary to cover the emotion felt when such grief descends on a family.

Monsignor Shane McCaughey was speaking after spending time with the family of Chloe McGee who was among the five young people who lost their lives in a crash in Dundalk on Saturday night.

In a joint statement Monsignor McCaughey and Fr Michael Jordan parish priest in Magheracloone, said they share in the devastation being thrust upon the families and on the communities.

They said they are very conscious too of the impact of this on the many friends of Chloe, Shay, Alan, Dylan and Chloe.

Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, Mgr McCaughey described how he saw the McGee family's hearts breaking.
