One of Ireland's oldest people dies aged 105

Bridie Kiernan (nee McEnroe), who is originally from Cavan, was born in 1919.

One of the oldest people in the country has passed away aged 105.

Bridie Kiernan (nee McEnroe), who is originally from Virginia , was born in 1919.

She died peacefully in the kind and excellent care of the Sheelin Nursing Home, Mountnugent.

Bridie will be reposing in Gibneys Funeral Home, Oldcastle (A82 D376) on Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm.

Funeral Service on Thursday 17th April at 2:00pm in St Brides Church, Oldcastle, with burial afterwards in Killeagh Graveyard, Moate, Oldcastle.
