There have been over 270 dwelling completions across the region so far this year.
The findings come from a recent report compiled by the Central Statistics Office.
The CSO provided a break-down of the number of construction works completed around the country in Quarters 1 and 2 of this year.
So far this year, the most housing completions in the region were in Co. Cavan, at 138 constructions completed.
This is followed by 134 in Co. Monaghan, at a combined total of 272 dwellings built.
Six of the eight regions of Ireland saw rises in completions.
The Border region, which includes counties Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Monaghan, and Sligo, had the most single completions in Quarter 2 of this year, at 240.
Nationally, there were over 9,000 new dwelling completions in April, May, and June 2025, a rise of 35% on the same three months of 2024.
