A pedestrian has been injured in a hit-and-run incident in Bailyjamesduff. The pedestrian, who was struck by a car as it travelled from Anne Street on to Oldcastle Road on Sunday evening, March 2nd. The pedestrian sustained a foot injury.
Gardaí are now appealing for information and, in particular dashcam footage, from any member of the public who was in the area between 7:20 and 7:30pm yesterday evening, Tuesday, 4th March.
The driver of the red car in question failed to stop and Gardaí in Ballyjamesduff are now investigating the circumstances. Anyone who can help is asked to contact Bailieboro Garda Station on 042 969 4570.
