Plans for a new community centre in Monaghan have been given the green light.
Killeevan Development Association applied to Monaghan County Council to convert a house into a new community facility on Main Street, Newbliss.
The new centre will be made up of a community space, multifunctional exhibition and meeting rooms, and a community garden.

Also included in the development is the demolition of a rear extension, amendments to the footpath, and a new extension.
County Planners granted the application with 6 conditions attached.
