Two Monaghan GAA clubs have been granted conditional permission for extensions.
Gaeil Triucha CLG and Clontibret GFC submitted separate applications to Monaghan County Council.
Gaeil Triucha CLG proposed a development consisting of the extension of an existing playing field/ GAA field to facilitate a warmup area and all associated site works at Lisseagh, Mullabryan and Knockconan Emyvale Co. Monaghan.
The project has been granted planning permission with six conditions attached.
Separately Clontibret GFC submitted an application to extend and alter two storey existing facilities GAA facilities at Lisglassan/Corcaskea Td Clontibret Co. Monaghan.
The proposed works include, the demolition of existing single-storey machinery store, alterations and extensions of the existing two-storey club house.
It also includes construction of a two-storey reception area together with glazed link at first floor level, construction of an adjoining two storey building to accommodate changing facilities, toilets, showers, kitchen, multipurpose room, shop & storage.
There's also the proposed erection of an outdoor viewing terrace to the rear of the building, alterations of existing carpark, connection to existing services including sewage & water together with all associated site works.
Permission was granted for this facility with 10 conditions attached.
